Meet the Team

Keira Simmonds
Keira Simmonds

Executive Director | Founder
As the founder of LYFEhouse Inc, Keira is passionate about personal development and the pursuit of knowledge.  She graduated from York College, City University of New York with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.  After which she pursued and obtained her Masters in Management and Leadership from Webster University.  As a certified independent coach, speaker and trainer with the John Maxwell team, Keira endeavors to help the transform the community, one encounter at a time. 
With over ten years of experience working in human services, she has realized that successful outcomes are a direct result of a positive outlook and a transformed mindset.

Patrice Fletcher
Patrice Fletcher

Board Member | Events
Patrice earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism with a concentration in Event Management from the University of Florida.
She is the President & CEO of Joshua Joel SMA Life, Inc., and a Senior Administrative Assistant at Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc. She is also a Member-at-Large and Co-founder of Dream on Purpose, where she provides event management. Patrice serves as a Senior Vice President of Xposure Consulting Firm, a consulting firm specializing in marketing, event planning, and business management.

Jessica Baker

Board Member | Grants & Projects
Jessica is a leader, connector and changemaker who has been helping people and organizations realize their potential for over 16 years. Her background spans higher education career services, workforce development, and the non-profit sector. She has extensive experience in operations, fiscal administration, communications, fundraising, and strategic relations. Her passion for community building has led her to serve on multiple non-profit and government advisory boards throughout her career. She is committed to cultivating opportunities and expanding access for all. 

Mark Bernard
Mark Bernard

Board Member | Information Technology
Mark is currently a Senior Systems Administrator with Atris Technologies where he has served since 2006.  As an accomplished leader and IT professional with over 20 years of experience, Mark also finds time to lend his talents to his  church overseeing their audiovisual and other technological needs. He also serves as Deacon and the Minister of Music.

Lisa Walls
Lisa Walls

Board Treasurer | Fiscal Operations
Lisa is a management consultant with FIS, an international provider of financial services technology and outsourcing services.  She has been working in the financial institution industry since 1994. Amongst her many positions in banking, she spent the majority of her career as a VP/Deposit Operations Officer for a local community bank. Lisa has also served as a financial institutions consultant with an accounting firm offering Deposit Compliance and Internal Audits.

Shareen Baptiste
Shareen Baptiste

Board Secretary | Communications
Shareen is a double Gator; holding a M.S. in Entrepreneurship and a B.S. in Public Relations. She has more than 10 years of Marketing and Communications experience in the non-profit, business and governmental sector with a specific focus on increasing brand visibility, building strategic relationships with the media and serving the business community. She has a proclivity for strategic planning, project management and creative graphic/web design and photography. She also has educational knowledge of grant research and writing.
